Remus Greavu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Rosendal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remus Greavu having to make a save. In the 15th minute Damian Bobailă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Bobailă struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ulf Jakobsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Vertigo. In the 22nd minute, one of Valla Fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Valla Fc. Ulf Jakobsson went to the wrong direction when Romeo Galiceanu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Valla Fc's Ulf Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Bobailă in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Bobailă in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulf Jakobsson saved Valla Fc from getting behind. A collision led to Club Vertigo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Romeo Galiceanu hit a great ball. When Club Vertigo's Tudor Proca in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valla Fc's goalie prevented a goal. Valentin Rosendal kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentin Rosendal to make the kick off. Tudor Ionașcu charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tudor Ionașcu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudor Ionașcu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Valla Fc's John Ambjörnsson got a free kick in the 57th minute. Ulf Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Bobailă in the 61st minute of play. Valla Fc's Ulf Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Bobailă in the 62nd minute of play. Ulf Jakobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Bobailă in the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Vertigo's zone, Jan Drake stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Greavu came out of the goal and Jan Drake tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oskar Wallmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Greavu having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Valla Fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Ulf Jakobsson had in the 81stth minute some difficulties stopping Romeo Galiceanu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 96 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Tudor Ionașcu. Valla Fc succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Club Vertigo had controlled the match.
