Leon Maruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilmo Kaven in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Iikka Haapaniemi. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Andrzej Modrzewski took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tomi Pihlman to make any attempt to save it. Leon Maruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuukka Liimatainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Glany proboszcza's Andrzej Modrzewski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomi Pihlman. Tomi Pihlman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 22nd minute Ilmo Kaven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Maruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Norbert Komanski fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glany proboszcza's protests and gave Norbert Komanski a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Glany proboszcza got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Komanski. Ilmo Kaven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tahvo Seppä kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pentti Luhtio during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Glany proboszcza booed when Liverpool FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pentti Luhtio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Iikka Haapaniemi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Maruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Andrzej Modrzewski made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Ilmo Kaven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilmo Kaven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute Jan Flis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomi Pihlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Liverpool FC defense, Andrzej Modrzewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomi Pihlman. The Liverpool FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomi Pihlman should have stopped the shot. Tomi Pihlman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Osowski in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Ilmo Kaven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilmo Kaven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norbert Komanski kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Zachary Buczak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glany proboszcza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool FC the free kick. In the 78th minute, Jan Flis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomi Pihlman was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilmo Kaven in the 87th minute of play forced Glany proboszcza's goalkeeper Leon Maruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liverpool FC's Tomi Pihlman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Modrzewski in the 91st minute of play. Kasperi Puurula's late challenge caught a Glany proboszcza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kasperi Puurula helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Kasperi Puurula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Glany proboszcza fans cheered their team off the field, for while Liverpool FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
