FC Hollywood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Daumann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brian Hülsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iikka Haapaniemi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Iikka Haapaniemi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brian Hülsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Michael Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Tomi Pihlman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool FC's zone, Michael Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomi Pihlman came out of the goal and Michael Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brian Hülsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarmo Heikkinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andreas Daumann struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Tomi Pihlman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Hollywood. 48 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Hoffmann came free, but Tomi Pihlman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ilmo Kaven to strike the kick off in the second half. Miika Vihtilä's late challenge caught a FC Hollywood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miika Vihtilä helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Miika Vihtilä. After 54 played minutes, FC Hollywood's Florian Klauck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomi Pihlman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Hollywood reached it. After a rather tough play, FC Hollywood's Dieter Wahlen got a free kick in the 57th minute. Brian Hülsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilmo Kaven in the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Hoffmann came free, but Tomi Pihlman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luca Thürmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the game, Mattias Stromann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Hollywood's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool FC the free kick. Mattias Stromann kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Liverpool FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Iikka Haapaniemi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brian Hülsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Liverpool FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! In the 96th minute there was a penalty for FC Hollywood. Florian Klauck stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tomi Pihlman. 1-3.
