With a left leg Stasio Rozanski saved BYDGOSTIA from getting behind. Stasio Rozanski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Chayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matias Eder during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Matias Eder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Virgilio Guerau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Águilas Poblanas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Stasio Rozanski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Guerau, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Águilas Poblanas were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Roberto Mateus made the kick off in the second half. Stasio Rozanski was a little too slow when Roberto Mateus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-5. In the 54th minute, Elpidio Chayo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stasio Rozanski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hieronim Brudnicki in the 58th minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Cornelio Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgilio Guerau hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes, BYDGOSTIA's Stefan Hludzenski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cornelio Mino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BYDGOSTIA reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Franciszek Wierzcholek managed to get in a good position for a shot. BYDGOSTIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Franciszek Wierzcholek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Mino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the game, Andrzej Bury cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. BYDGOSTIA's Stasio Rozanski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Mateus in the 68th minute of play. Franciszek Wierzcholek kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Matias Eder took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stasio Rozanski. BYDGOSTIA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Mateus in the 72nd minute of play forced BYDGOSTIA's goalkeeper Stasio Rozanski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Virgilio Guerau fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Águilas Poblanas's protests and gave Virgilio Guerau a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Águilas Poblanas's Virgilio Guerau got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The supporters of BYDGOSTIA booed when Águilas Poblanas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Eder didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Águilas Poblanas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
