After 6 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Karl von Planta. Pedro Kelemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Espen Steelers's Andre Zurbuchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Elizardo in the 14th minute of play. Dante Hartz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philipp Junod, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Laurita FC defense, Hans Pasquino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Hartz. The Laurita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Hartz should have stopped the shot. If Aaron Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Tadzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Zurbuchen having to interfere. Espen Steelers's Andre Zurbuchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Elizardo in the 28th minute of play. Blas Mingo charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blas Mingo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, one of Laurita FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Laurita FC. Harrison Muntwyler walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. A collision led to Laurita FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Reynaldo Tadzio hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Zberg during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Zberg to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Kenan Vinciguerra. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Gavin Ciprella replaced Sebastian Zberg. A collision led to Espen Steelers getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Kenan Vinciguerra hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes, Laurita FC's Reynaldo Tadzio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andre Zurbuchen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Laurita FC reached it. Aaron Elizardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Andre Zurbuchen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

With a little luck, Espen Steelers's Andre Zurbuchen got control of the ball when Romulo Phelipe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Hartz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freeman Mächler in the 55th minute of the match. Laurita FC's Dante Hartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenan Vinciguerra in the 59th minute of play. Espen Steelers's Marco Léveillé was substituted for Harley Routhier. Romulo Phelipe kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Dante Hartz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geordi Gerig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Hartz came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Espen Steelers's Kenan Vinciguerra. But to his dismay, Kenan Vinciguerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 69th minute, Laurita FC's Teo Senio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andre Zurbuchen. Andre Zurbuchen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Pasquino in the 77th minute of play forced Laurita FC's goalkeeper Dante Hartz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Kenan Vinciguerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Dante Hartz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Espen Steelers getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Enrico Schlüssel hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Laurita FC's Romulo Phelipe tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dante Hartz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geordi Gerig, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Espen Steelers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Laurita FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
