Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC MeHigh's Cristian Macaneață started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nae Fundătoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC MeHigh getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Călin Irimia hit a great ball. Pedrinho Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Nae Fundătoreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Magalhães hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Cristian Macaneață who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of José do Vale when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Codrin Cucerdean hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes FC MeHigh's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angelo Magalhães who took care of the corner kick. José do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Macaneață in the 14th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Macaneață in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the game, George Curteanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC MeHigh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAO JOANENSE FC the free kick. After 20 played minutes FC MeHigh got a freekick which was hit by George Curteanu. In the 21st minute, Cristian Macaneață hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to SAO JOANENSE FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Pedrinho Lara hit a great ball. When Pedrinho Lara got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for SAO JOANENSE FC. José do Vale stood somewhat misplaced when Cristian Macaneață came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 24 minute. After a defensive mix-up in SAO JOANENSE FC's zone, Cristian Macaneață stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José do Vale came out of the goal and Cristian Macaneață tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute of the match, George Curteanu got a very nice opportunity to score, but José do Vale was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Macaneață in the 38th minute of play forced SAO JOANENSE FC's goalkeeper José do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, SAO JOANENSE FC's José do Vale got control of the ball when George Curteanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute Călin Irimia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Curteanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but José do Vale made a huge save. With his leg José do Vale managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when FC MeHigh's Cristian Macaneață fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eriberto Vaz to strike the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Fundătoreanu having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, FC MeHigh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Curteanu to maneuver through the defense. If Cristian Macaneață had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SAO JOANENSE FC's José do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Curteanu in the 66th minute of play. José do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Călin Irimia in the 68th minute of the match. Angelo Magalhães hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. José do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Macaneață in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Cássio Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Curteanu took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José do Vale. José do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. A collision led to SAO JOANENSE FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jerônimo Velloso hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiliam Matorin got free with Nae Fundătoreanu in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the game, Eriberto Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
