Juan Foyth was slow to take the kick. During this time Shuspendemo's players had a chance to rest. If Luis-Antonio Hompanera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Carrillo in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guerrero Marva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Barcelona de América getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Iachetti Blasco hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes, Shuspendemo's Juan Foyth shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guerrero Marva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Shuspendemo reached it. Shuspendemo were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Barcelona de América's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan Foyth took the corner. In the 32nd minute Nacho Manuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guerrero Marva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roque Remicio kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Shuspendemo's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Criado came free, but Haroldo Cresencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Ulises Casanande cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Haroldo Cresencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Guido Carrillo could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Guerrero Marva however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Shuspendemo's Roque Remicio got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Anibal Villascuerna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haroldo Cresencio skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Casanande in the 45th minute of play forced Shuspendemo's goalkeeper Haroldo Cresencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Barcelona de América were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulises Casanande to make the kick off. Shuspendemo's Gaudencio Benvide got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Guido Carrillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Anibal Villascuerna in the 54th minute really tested Haroldo Cresencio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 60 played minutes Shuspendemo got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Benvide. Barcelona de América's Anibal Villascuerna shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Haroldo Cresencio but with some difficulty. In the 64th minute, Nacho Manuel made a precise shot to the right of Guerrero Marva. Barcelona de América's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Guerrero Marva came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Shuspendemo's Guido Carrillo. But to his dismay, Guido Carrillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Shuspendemo made a substitution. Honorato Quentin replaced Eloy Chesus. In the 83rd minute, Valentin Criado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guerrero Marva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nacho Manuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
