In the 2nd minute, Sílvio Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asep Ridholhaqqi got in the 3rd minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Germano Branco. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Jukatriz's João Vítor Paraibano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markus Sirait narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Kelik Novara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Sílvio Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jukatriz's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Vargas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markus Sirait breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Markus Sirait made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor Paraibano in the 14th minute of play. Markus Sirait stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Vítor Paraibano's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. When Cauã Seco fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jukatriz's protests and gave Cauã Seco a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jukatriz! The goalkeeper, Germano Branco, was totally fooled by PHOENIX SC's Ceppy Sarbini, who 20 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Germano Branco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ceppy Sarbini went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Zulfikar Dharmasakti charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zulfikar Dharmasakti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Jukatriz booed when PHOENIX SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zulfikar Dharmasakti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jukatriz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sílvio Vargas in the 35th minute. Nestor da Silveira was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Germano Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceppy Sarbini, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX SC's Asep Ridholhaqqi got a free kick in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Magalhães in the 42nd minute of play forced PHOENIX SC's goalkeeper Markus Sirait to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jukatriz's João Vítor Paraibano in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PHOENIX SC's goalie prevented a goal. The Jukatriz fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Jukatriz's João Vítor Paraibano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 47 minutes into the game, PHOENIX SC's Zulfikar Dharmasakti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germano Branco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Butet Wilza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Jukatriz's zone, Butet Wilza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germano Branco came out of the goal and Butet Wilza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorian Pontes charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorian Pontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute, Dorian Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Luiz Eduardo Magalhães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Markus Sirait was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After some careless play in the Jukatriz defense, Ceppy Sarbini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Germano Branco. The Jukatriz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Germano Branco should have stopped the shot. Luiz Eduardo Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kelik Novara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th match minute, PHOENIX SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by I Ketut Samosir to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 75 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jukatriz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Eduardo Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute Asep Ridholhaqqi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inácio Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 minutes, Asep Ridholhaqqi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PHOENIX SC and the Jukatriz players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jukatriz booed when PHOENIX SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Hudaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sílvio Vargas came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Jukatriz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Vargas couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Jukatriz defense, Christopher Kalengkongan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Germano Branco. The Jukatriz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Germano Branco should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the game, PHOENIX SC's Ceppy Sarbini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germano Branco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. Germano Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceppy Sarbini in the 97th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PHOENIX SC had played much better football throughout.
