Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ief Van den Berghe made the kick off which started today's match. Jasper De Raeijmaecker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominique Virapin went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 7th minute Dominique Virapin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jasper De Raeijmaecker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Dominique Virapin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Pointe Courte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 12 minutes into the game, Yann Segond was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Pointe Courte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Invictus FC the free kick. In the 12th minute, Yann Segond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, La Pointe Courte's Sabri Fouquet got control of the ball when Ief Van den Berghe tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Invictus FC defense, Dominique Virapin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jasper De Raeijmaecker. The Invictus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jasper De Raeijmaecker should have stopped the shot. In the 27thth minute of the game Guy Van Eeckhout who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Pointe Courte's Sabri Fouquet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jasper De Raeijmaecker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominique Virapin in the 35th minute of the match. Invictus FC's Jasper De Raeijmaecker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominique Virapin in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, La Pointe Courte's John Holmes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jasper De Raeijmaecker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 43rd minute, Fredrik De Geyter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Pascal Zimmer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Invictus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Pointe Courte the free kick. After 44 played minutes Invictus FC got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Zimmer. La Pointe Courte's Dominique Virapin got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Dominique Virapin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jasper De Raeijmaecker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yann Scott in the 55th minute. A collision led to La Pointe Courte getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Dominique Virapin hit a great ball. La Pointe Courte's Mathys Guigon was substituted for Dominique Virapin. The supporters of Invictus FC booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominique Virapin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thibaut Mazieres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jasper De Raeijmaecker having to make a save. Jasper De Raeijmaecker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathys Guigon in the 67th minute of the match. Jasper De Raeijmaecker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathys Guigon in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Invictus FC's Edmond Kempenaers got a free kick in the 70th minute. 70 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's Patxi Seux broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guy Van Eeckhout in the 74th minute of play forced La Pointe Courte's goalkeeper Sabri Fouquet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabri Fouquet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ief Van den Berghe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tim Quantin's late challenge caught a Invictus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Quantin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Invictus FC booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Quantin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmond Kempenaers was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 79 minutes into the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Mathys Guigon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Pointe Courte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathys Guigon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 minutes, Thibaut Mazieres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Pointe Courte and the Invictus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes La Pointe Courte got a freekick which was hit by Thibaut Mazieres. Thys Hulsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Pointe Courte played a much better game than Invictus FC and deserved their victory. The Invictus FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
