Julius De Leger walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Julius De Leger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julius De Leger hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Jacinto Arlo could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Jasper De Raeijmaecker however easily saved by the left post. Julius De Leger's late challenge caught a Dolar Blue Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julius De Leger helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Invictus FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Julius De Leger hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, Invictus FC's Richard Worteleers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliciano Frederik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Invictus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dolar Blue Ψ the free kick. Wouter De Keyser kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Jasper De Raeijmaecker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Arlo in the 80th minute of the match. If Vladimiro Rolado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julius De Leger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliciano Frederik showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Wouter De Keyser fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Invictus FC's protests and gave Wouter De Keyser a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute of the match, Niceto Columbo sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Jasper De Raeijmaecker showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. The Dolar Blue Ψ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Invictus FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Invictus FC.
