The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Perivaldo Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Perivaldo Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes SE Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Salles. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Mlekodaj in the 59th minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Nilson Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafal Rzeszutek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Korneliusz Traczewski kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Korneliusz Traczewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Although FC Bemowo had been in control for most of the match, SE Palmeiras still came away with the win.
