After 32 minutes of play, Crisólia FBPA's Renatinho Cordeiro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Márcio Freitas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alessandro Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando da Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guga de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Armando da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alessandro Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Crisólia FBPA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmeiras the free kick. A collision led to Crisólia FBPA getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Dida Porto hit a great ball. Armando da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
