In the 11th minute José Augusto Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If José Augusto Favoretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. Eddie Alström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Augusto Favoretto in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Fred Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Eddie Alström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Luís Paulo Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BK Värdsholmen's Eddie Alström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Augusto Favoretto in the 44th minute of play. The BK Värdsholmen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Joinville City - FSCMZ were winning 0-4.

With a little luck, BK Värdsholmen's Eddie Alström got control of the ball when José Augusto Favoretto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 59 played minutes Joinville City - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Kauã Terra. José Augusto Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elivélton Palmeira's late challenge caught a BK Värdsholmen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peder Månsson in the 69th minute of play forced Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edmundo Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Joinville City - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Favoretto. A collision led to Joinville City - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Kauã Terra hit a great ball. Patrik Lundkvist hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The supporters of BK Värdsholmen booed when Joinville City - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Paulo Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, José Augusto Favoretto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joinville City - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Augusto Favoretto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Luiz Fabiano Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in BK Värdsholmen's zone, José Augusto Favoretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddie Alström came out of the goal and José Augusto Favoretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joinville City - FSCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
