DIANU 76 -Stiinta- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angelo Wesseling kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15thth minute of the game Jovan Markovič who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's Johann Scheuerer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reiner Gurr to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Reiner Gurr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rot-Weiss-Essen's supporters rose to their feet, but Reiner Gurr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Buteanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 minutes, Gigel Vârșan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- and the Rot-Weiss-Essen players grew even worse after the yellow card. 27 minutes into the match, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Vali Mihăilă sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johann Scheuerer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johann Scheuerer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vali Mihăilă was the one to do the kick off. Constantin Ene's late challenge caught a Rot-Weiss-Essen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantin Ene helped the player get up and apologised. Amadeo König kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Johann Scheuerer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Mihăilă in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Jovan Markovič managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jovan Markovič was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After recieving a nice pass, F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s Cristian Maleș tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Radomil Gabler kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta- got a corner. Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristian Maleș ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Rot-Weiss-Essen getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Sigi Tegtmeyer hit a great ball. Johann Scheuerer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vali Mihăilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of F.C.
