In the 9th minute, Baldomiro Gonzalez made a precise shot to the right of Johnny Reyes. Club Atlético Lea Papá's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 12th minute Iván Barraza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Justo Lon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Johnny Reyes, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Bruno Seguinus managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Candela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Seguinus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnny Reyes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as La Candela FC's Bruno Seguinus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Johnny Reyes. That made the score 3-0 after 20 minutes of play. La Candela FC's Vicente Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Ocampo in the 24th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Club Atlético Lea Papá got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Aguirre. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomiro Gonzalez got free with Johnny Reyes in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Johnny Reyes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Lea Papá from getting a goal against them. Saul Flor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Johnny Reyes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Club Atlético Lea Papá's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Johnny Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Lon, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Baldomiro Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Johnny Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when Club Atlético Lea Papá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martín Casagrande didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, La Candela FC's Saul Flor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johnny Reyes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Candela FC fully deserved thier win.
