Carlinhos Negri lost his temper 4 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Dexter Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caetano Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeffrey Chen's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After 10 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Lucas. In the 11th minute, Mohammed Lloyd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Icoara Football Club's Valdo Lima ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cedric Glover. Cedric Glover yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Connor Benitez in the 18th minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Caetano Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caetano Monteiro came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Miami Futbol Club's Mohammed Lloyd. But to his dismay, Mohammed Lloyd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Jeffrey Chen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cedric Glover took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Icoara Football Club booed when Racing Miami Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roderick Watson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Dexter Alvarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 45 played minutes Racing Miami Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Holbrook. The Icoara Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Racing Miami Futbol Club were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohammed Lloyd was the one to do the kick off. Valdo Lima hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Egídio Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Caetano Monteiro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dexter Alvarez. Icoara Football Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Mohammed Lloyd scored to the left of an out of position Caetano Monteiro, making the score, 1-4. The audience was convinced that Mohammed Lloyd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caetano Monteiro was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 71st minute, Dexter Alvarez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Caetano Monteiro. The goal made the score 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinaldo Baxter got free with Caetano Monteiro in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Icoara Football Club's zone, Mohammed Lloyd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caetano Monteiro came out of the goal and Mohammed Lloyd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Lucas. Caetano Monteiro was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Mohammed Lloyd capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mohammed Lloyd really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. In the 92nd minute, Egídio Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
