The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szilárd Csikós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Pedro Mendes in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gusztáv Jászberényi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute, Eduardo Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute of the match Ferenc Jászberényi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Moraes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Felipe Drogba charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Drogba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Felipe Drogba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Eduardo Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Zsolt Vörös ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Bruninho Campidelis came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Goblins F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruninho Campidelis couldn't finish the play. Dénes Boross kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Gusztáv Jászberényi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sílvio Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szilárd Csikós in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's János Major got a free kick in the 28th minute. Goblins F.C.'s Waldemar Ramos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Szombathely Squirrels. Zsolt Vörös received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Sílvio Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dénes Boross, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gusztáv Jászberényi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 42 minutes, Zé Pedro Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goblins F.C. and the Szombathely Squirrels players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zé Pedro Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.
The wind increased when Dénes Boross made the kick off in the second half. Sílvio Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Szilárd Csikós in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruninho Campidelis in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gusztáv Jászberényi saved Szombathely Squirrels from getting behind. Bruninho Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gusztáv Jászberényi having to interfere. Zsolt Vörös could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Sílvio Moraes made a huge save. Lajos Jakó lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 63 minutes into the game, one of Szombathely Squirrels:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Goblins F.C. a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Waldemar Ramos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Szombathely Squirrels's Gusztáv Jászberényi. 1-1. 68 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Pedro Mendes came free, but Gusztáv Jászberényi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Szilárd Csikós came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Szombathely Squirrels fans jumped to their feet. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Goblins F.C. reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Goblins F.C.'s zone, Szilárd Csikós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Moraes came out of the goal and Szilárd Csikós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Szombathely Squirrels's Zsolt Vörös got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Goblins F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Szilárd Csikós came free, but Sílvio Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Goblins F.C.'s Enio Azevedo got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Szilárd Csikós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Goblins F.C.'s Sílvio Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Goblins F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 95th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihály Csontos to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 96 minutes, Zé Pedro Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goblins F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Pedro Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
