After a defensive mix-up in Goblins F.C.'s zone, Cristian Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Moraes came out of the goal and Cristian Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Willian Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruninho Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruninho Campidelis in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willian Loyola saved Morro Grande E.C from getting behind. The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Raúl Maia got a free kick in the 16th minute. Zé Pedro Mendes hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. César Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Cristian Duarte got a free kick in the 28th minute. Willian Loyola came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Goblins F.C.'s Bruninho Campidelis. But to his dismay, Bruninho Campidelis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luisinho Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sílvio Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruninho Campidelis struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Willian Loyola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goblins F.C..

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Duarte made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Goblins F.C.'s Felipe Drogba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Willian Loyola. Willian Loyola yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Sílvio Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Silva in the 64th minute of play. When Morro Grande E.C's Cristian Duarte in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Goblins F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. 78 minutes into the match, Zé Pedro Mendes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Willian Loyola, 1-3. Oséias Rosa hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Mendes in the 85th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Willian Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bruninho Campidelis came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Goblins F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruninho Campidelis couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Waldemar Ramos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willian Loyola. Morro Grande E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldemar Ramos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. César Vinhas's late challenge caught a Goblins F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César Vinhas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's César Vinhas got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Morro Grande E.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Goblins F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
