Fidelio Haller hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Odysseus De Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Torpedo Dabrowa's Wasyl Karwowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florian Labus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Sevier having to interfere. A collision led to FC Torpedo Dabrowa getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Florian Labus hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, FC Torpedo Dabrowa's goal looked a bit too open when Odysseus De Souza came free, but Wasyl Karwowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When FC Lugano's Tiziano Gamache in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Torpedo Dabrowa's goalie prevented a goal. Tiziano Gamache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Wasyl Karwowski made a huge save. In the 44th minute Tiziano Gamache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Karwowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olgierd Prokowski hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Odysseus De Souza had several of the FC Torpedo Dabrowa's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 47 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Wasyl Karwowski as he didn't even see the shot coming. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiziano Gamache was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, FC Torpedo Dabrowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Mindykowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute of the match Tito Waechter sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wasyl Karwowski skillfully saved the ball. Wasyl Karwowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiziano Gamache in the 57th minute of the match. In the 62ndth minute of the game Tiziano Gamache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Torpedo Dabrowa's Wasyl Karwowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd match minute, FC Torpedo Dabrowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slawomir Pozorski to maneuver through the defense. FC Lugano's Ulric Donsante was substituted for Tiziano Gamache. Wasyl Karwowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. If Odysseus De Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Lugano fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Torpedo Dabrowa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
