The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wlodzimierz Basinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aitor Castañeda kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Wlodzimierz Fleszar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christobal Riazos in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frantxizko Millares got free with Wlodzimierz Fleszar in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Grasshoppers Klucze defense, Christobal Riazos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wlodzimierz Fleszar. The Grasshoppers Klucze fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wlodzimierz Fleszar should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute Lonzo Trincado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Fleszar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kazimierz Peczkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Fernando Collantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Wlodzimierz Basinski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Collantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Niolaao Cigüenza's late challenge caught a Grasshoppers Klucze's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niolaao Cigüenza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalkeeper Fernando Collantes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grasshoppers Klucze were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teobald Snaza took the corner. Wlodzimierz Basinski struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Fernando Collantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grasshoppers Klucze. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan! In the 42nd match minute, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nardo Casaviella to maneuver through the defense. Karol Dombroski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fernando Collantes. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kazimierz Peczkowski to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Grasshoppers Klucze's goal looked a bit too open when Christobal Riazos came free, but Wlodzimierz Fleszar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Frantxizko Millares sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Grasshoppers Klucze's Wlodzimierz Fleszar didn't even have to move. In the 58th minute, Wlodzimierz Basinski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Collantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 62nd minute, Kazimierz Peczkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grasshoppers Klucze's Wlodzimierz Fleszar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christobal Riazos in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Frantxizko Millares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Fleszar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Kazimierz Peczkowski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zadornin Lasalde during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zadornin Lasalde hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Wlodzimierz Basinski might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Collantes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wlodzimierz Basinski ran back to his position shaking his head. Wlodzimierz Basinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Kazimierz Peczkowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernando Collantes. The goal made the score 1-4. If Kazimierz Peczkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Wlodzimierz Basinski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 91 minutes into the match, Kazimierz Peczkowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fernando Collantes, 1-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Kazimierz Peczkowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernando Collantes. That made the score 1-6 in the 95 minute of play. The Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Grasshoppers Klucze were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
