The referee ignored Grasshoppers Klucze's protests and gave Zachariasz Pinczewski a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürcan Subutay in the 89th minute of play forced Grasshoppers Klucze's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Fleszar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karahan Taner took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wlodzimierz Fleszar. Wlodzimierz Fleszar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
