Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Roger Broman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Åsnes booed when Haymakers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarl Granström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Rune Gjessing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åsnes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rune Gjessing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petter Vartdal struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Stig Brask didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åsnes. 10 minutes into the game, Morten Hestad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Stig Brask was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roger Broman took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Runar Støen. Runar Støen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Åsnes's Runar Støen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Broman in the 24th minute of play. Morten Hestad charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Morten Hestad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Morten Hestad. Stig Brask showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morten Hestad, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Morten Hestad sped through Haymakers FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stig Brask. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Gjessing in the 45th minute of play forced Haymakers FC's goalkeeper Stig Brask to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Morten Hestad kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Roger Broman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Runar Støen came out and tried to block the shot, but Roger Broman slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 47th minute.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Morten Hestad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rune Gjessing got free with Stig Brask in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morten Hestad to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Haymakers FC's Stig Brask got control of the ball when Rune Gjessing tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Steffen Askvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morten Hestad in the 62nd minute of play forced Haymakers FC's goalkeeper Stig Brask to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Haymakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Sandersen came free, but Stig Brask reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Petter Vartdal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stig Brask. Haymakers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petter Vartdal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 70 minutes into the game, Roger Broman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Runar Støen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Petter Vartdal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Stig Brask made a huge save. When Agne Barck fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haymakers FC's protests and gave Agne Barck a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Haymakers FC's Agne Barck got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Morten Hestad recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stig Brask. Morten Hestad showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. After a rather tough play, Åsnes's Steffen Askvik got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Jonas Rydberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Runar Støen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Christoffer Sjöberg hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Roger Broman notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Åsnes's Runar Støen. Runar Støen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Åsnes's Rune Gjessing dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-5. 92 minutes into the match, Haymakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Sandersen came free, but Stig Brask reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Petter Vartdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Brask saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Brask made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Kristian Sandersen sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Åsnes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Haymakers FC throughout the match.
