Carolo Brais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Dave Falcioni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Belardi took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Bingen. Fidel Bingen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nunez Quinteros during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nunez Quinteros kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Dave Falcioni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nunez Quinteros in the 24th minute. Fidel Bingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Pietrantoni in the 26th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Sajones F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Beat to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Aurelio Belardi made a precise shot to the right of Fidel Bingen. Sajones F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Sajones F.C.'s Clemente Gonzales slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dave Falcioni. That made the score 2-2 after 33 minutes of play. Dave Falcioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Brais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Burnley FC defense, Carolo Brais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dave Falcioni. The Burnley FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dave Falcioni should have stopped the shot. Dave Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Brais in the 46th minute of play. Burnley FC's Dave Falcioni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Burnley FC from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carolo Brais was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Clemente Gonzales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Falcioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Jimeno Salomone made a precise shot to the right of Dave Falcioni. Burnley FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. 58 minutes into the match, Carolo Brais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dave Falcioni. Burnley FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carolo Brais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. After 61 minutes of play, Sajones F.C.'s Clemente Gonzales made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dave Falcioni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Burnley FC's Dave Falcioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Salomone in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Donato Porcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Sajones F.C. booed when Burnley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Porcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st match minute, Burnley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Porcu to maneuver through the defense. Silverio Piearres hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Aldo Catini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Carolo Brais ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dave Falcioni was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-2. Sajones F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
