Benicio Txeru came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Fura Balizas's Julião Barcelos. But to his dismay, Julião Barcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 6th minute, FC Fura Balizas's José Guarda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benicio Txeru. Benicio Txeru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When Leandro Paredes fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abuba Akotonon FC's protests and gave Leandro Paredes a yellow card for diving instead. Leandro Paredes hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Julião Barcelos could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Benicio Txeru however easily saved by the left post. Tobias Paixão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 43rd match minute, FC Fura Balizas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Costa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Suarez in the 45th minute of play forced FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Tobias Paixão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's José Guarda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benicio Txeru narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

A collision led to Abuba Akotonon FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Leandro Paredes hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute Vladimiro Guerreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benicio Txeru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julião Barcelos in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Haroldo Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute José Guarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Fura Balizas's Mateus Vieira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marco Galsino, made in the 63rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Pinto in the 66th minute of play forced FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Tobias Paixão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Benicio Txeru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Márcio Vilarinho kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 73 played minutes FC Fura Balizas got a freekick which was hit by Márcio Vilarinho. FC Fura Balizas's Julião Barcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, José Guarda notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Abuba Akotonon FC's Benicio Txeru. Benicio Txeru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Fura Balizas made a substitution. Jorge Leite replaced Vladimiro Guerreiro. Benicio Txeru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Guarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 90 minutes, Juliano Severiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Fura Balizas and the Abuba Akotonon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Fura Balizas getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Juliano Severiano hit a great ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Fura Balizas were victorious despite being under pressure from Abuba Akotonon FC for much of the match.
