It was beautiful to see Ninjas in Pyjamas's Ştefan Secară in action when he in the 11th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Vali Măcrinici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knörr Sós in the 16th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Cornel Surdilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Mnich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ninjas in Pyjamas fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Ninjas in Pyjamas's Cornel Surdilă looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mala Kapusta to make the kick off. After taking down the ball on Dom Spokojnej Młodości's corner Mala Kapusta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vali Măcrinici quite easily take care of the ball. After 63 played minutes Dom Spokojnej Młodości got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Gdaniec. Miroslaw Mnich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cornel Surdilă's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. A collision led to Dom Spokojnej Młodości getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Mala Kapusta hit a great ball. Dom Spokojnej Młodości's Mieszko Logewnik was substituted for Fresco Tomat. Mala Kapusta kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Vali Măcrinici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knörr Sós, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's goal looked a bit too open when Knörr Sós came free, but Vali Măcrinici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalkeeper Vali Măcrinici had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mala Kapusta.
