The audience was convinced that Noureddine Burgun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Delgado was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Royal PSG's Raimundo Delgado threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Noureddine Burgun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Raimundo Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noureddine Burgun in the 42nd minute of play. Raimundo Delgado was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Noureddine Burgun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Noureddine Burgun really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romão Miranda was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute, Silvério Sabrosa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Octave Baronnet. The goal made the score 2-1. Octave Baronnet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvério Sabrosa went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Noureddine Burgun came free, but Raimundo Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noureddine Burgun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mathias Serieys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Noureddine Burgun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Royal PSG's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
