The crowd rose to their feet as Ronaldo Nazário De Lima kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zacarias Arnalt. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Nazário De Lima in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Arnalt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zacarias Arnalt made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ronaldo Nazário De Lima sent off a good shot on target. Zacarias Arnalt was a little too slow when Marian Mietus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 4-0. When Israel Indar came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the GARIBALDI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Indar couldn't finish the play. Ronaldo Nazário De Lima hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Słodkie Cytryny's goalkeeper Olgierd Zarobski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaby Gol. In the 54th minute, Ronaldo Nazário De Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Arnalt was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Słodkie Cytryny made a substitution. Stasio Czciborek replaced Hugon Wodaszak. In the 62nd minute Ronaldinho Kaká shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Arnalt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Marian Mietus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olgierd Zarobski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaby Gol in the 71st minute of the match. Israel Indar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Marian Mietus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Arnalt was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Słodkie Cytryny had won after a very even match.
