Halis Tuncaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Börje Askestät hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Sundens BK got a corner. KOCAELİSPOR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Börje Askestät ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Börje Askestät got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arif Burak Çimen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Víctor Osimhen in the 23rd minute of play forced Sundens BK's goalkeeper Axel Martinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Olof Jernberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Arif Burak Çimen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arif Burak Çimen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Ström in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KOCAELİSPOR's Zekai Hallaç got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute, George Ström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 46 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Söderman. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Víctor Osimhen in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axel Martinsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Sundens BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Cumali Aktaç scored to the left of an out of position Axel Martinsson, making the score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, KOCAELİSPOR's Ahmet Arif Durak got a free kick in the 60th minute. KOCAELİSPOR's Ergincan Derman was substituted for Kerimhan Yalavaç. KOCAELİSPOR made a substitution. Kahraman Erendiz replaced Barbaros Çelebioğlu. 62 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Conny Mårtensson came free, but Arif Burak Çimen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Martinsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Víctor Osimhen's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Axel Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víctor Osimhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KOCAELİSPOR's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
