In the 62nd minute of the game, Eber Paris landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 62 minutes, Deivid Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C. Ferrari and the ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ players grew even worse after the yellow card. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s Tauro Durney was substituted for Eber Paris. Deivid Queirós hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ferrari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Souto to maneuver through the defense. S.C. Ferrari's Cléber Arantes got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see S.C. Ferrari lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
