Kees Mussies was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 2 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Kees Mussies got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute of the match César Torres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elroy Eising skillfully saved the ball. After 5 played minutes Julias Rascals Apeldoorn got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Scheerhoorn. After having played for 6 minutes, César Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brazil Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Elroy Eising had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fiori Ferraz. In the 15th minute, Armando Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Thomás Massa put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Brazil Academy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Julias Rascals Apeldoorn:s goal. In the 28th minute, Florian Bogaard made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Abraão. Brazil Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Valdo de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Torres had several of the Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Elroy Eising as he didn't even see the shot coming. Elroy Eising made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when César Torres sent off a good shot on target. Brazil Academy's César Torres was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 45th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The Brazil Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn were winning 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florian Bogaard to strike the kick off in the second half. Armando Meira might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elroy Eising. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Meira ran back to his position shaking his head. When Armando Meira came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Brazil Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Meira couldn't finish the play. Elroy Eising stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of César Torres's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. A collision led to Julias Rascals Apeldoorn getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Wim Blom hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Joris Batum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 played minutes Brazil Academy got a freekick which was hit by César Torres. After having played for 70 minutes, Virgílio Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brazil Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgílio Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brazil Academy were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. César Torres took the corner. In the 82nd minute Florian Bogaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Virgílio Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brazil Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgílio Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elroy Eising breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elroy Eising made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Meira in the 96th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Brazil Academy failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
