Gerardo Olano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS's Gerardo Olano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS from getting a goal against them. Felipe Roca kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Afriz Hian was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gerardo Olano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afriz Hian in the 18th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Ali Ramachandran got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ali Ramachandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Olano having to interfere. Gerardo Olano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lamar Yang in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute Ali Ramachandran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Olano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Albirex Niigata FC defense, Zosimo Sarrate kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Chuan. The Albirex Niigata FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Chuan should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zosimo Sarrate stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Afriz Hian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albirex Niigata FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afriz Hian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Ali Ramachandran notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS's Gerardo Olano. Gerardo Olano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Domeka Abajas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 58th playminute. In the 65th minute Clive Politiek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Olano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Albirex Niigata FC booed when JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zaquiel Pardo's late challenge caught a Albirex Niigata FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zaquiel Pardo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Albirex Niigata FC booed when JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zaquiel Pardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Olano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Ramachandran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Domeka Abajas hit a great ball. In the 74th minute Ali Ramachandran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Olano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th match minute, JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walme Mala to maneuver through the defense. Gerardo Olano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Ramachandran in the 77th minute of play. Daniel Chuan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domeka Abajas in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's Ali Ramachandran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerardo Olano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerardo Olano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albirex Niigata FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
