After a defensive mix-up in Socavon FC's zone, Deivid Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Lujan came out of the goal and Deivid Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deivid Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deivid Vinhas during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 48 minutes of play Socavon FC's Diagur Mellado was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 48th match minute, Socavon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diagur Mellado to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Barrenechea to make the kick off. Ruy Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristofor Eiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Deivid Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
