The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee showed Ivan Kongsvang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivan Kongsvang hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The long shot by Dale Whittingham in the 5th minute really tested Kay Christian's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Hayden Merris's late challenge caught a Monks in Robes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hayden Merris helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Hayden Merris hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Piercy came free, but Kay Christian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Dominic Piercy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kay Christian. Dominic Piercy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Kongsvang came free, but Vince Lambley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Ulrick Bødkerholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Lambley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vince Lambley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Kongsvang in the 30th minute of the match. Vince Lambley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gynther Danford, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Ivan Kongsvang made a precise shot to the right of Vince Lambley. FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 43rdth minute of the game Vilhelm Palmekrone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW's Vince Lambley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vince Lambley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gynther Danford in the 46th minute of play. After 46 played minutes FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW got a freekick which was hit by Ashley Byrne. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dominic Piercy to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Ivan Kongsvang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vince Lambley was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Ivan Kongsvang took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Vince Lambley to make any attempt to save it. Vince Lambley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gynther Danford went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. Vince Lambley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Kongsvang in the 94th minute of play. Monks in Robes played a much better game than FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW and deserved their victory. The FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
