The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's zone, Aureliano Izotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Kelemen hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Fabrizio Gelsomini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustavo Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Casadei in the 12th minute of play. Florian Iezzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gustavo Galindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Casadei in the 18th minute of the match. Gustavo Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Iezzi in the 21st minute of play. Alfredo Tulio kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Fabiano Casadei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gustavo Galindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Iezzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41stth minute of the game Florian Iezzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Candelaria FC's Gustavo Galindo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eleuterio Osorio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Fausto Galliani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Galindo was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florian Iezzi was the one to do the kick off. When Lorenzo Candelario fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelaria FC's protests and gave Lorenzo Candelario a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, Lorenzo Candelario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliano Izotz kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Gustavo Galindo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrizio Gelsomini got free with Gustavo Galindo in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudio Allegretti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Peli in the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Fabrizio Gelsomini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 77 played minutes Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Galliani. Gustavo Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Casadei in the 81st minute of play. When Fabiano Casadei came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabiano Casadei couldn't finish the play. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Claudio Allegretti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Peli in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Candelaria FC's Aureliano Izotz got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Galindo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano Casadei. Alfredo Tulio kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Fabrizio Gelsomini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrizio Gelsomini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Candelaria FC throughout the match.
