The Audaz FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vitin Colsa should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Omar Fagondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Serafino Geofredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitin Colsa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Audaz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Artaza to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes Audaz FC got a freekick which was hit by Asensio Rigueiro. In the 36th minute, Serafino Geofredo made a precise shot to the right of Vitin Colsa. Audaz FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Serafino Geofredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Serafino Geofredo sped through Audaz FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vitin Colsa. After the first half C. A. Potrero were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urritz Villaran to make the kick off. The supporters of Audaz FC booed when C. A. Potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Cesar Gora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urritz Villaran took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Javier Steven. C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adan Hustaz lost his temper 65 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Adan Hustaz hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Javier Steven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Videl Santianes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafino Geofredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serafino Geofredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitin Colsa having to interfere. C. A. Potrero's Serafino Geofredo got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejo Nerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Vitin Colsa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Audaz FC's Vitin Colsa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Geofredo in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Serafino Geofredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitin Colsa. Audaz FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafino Geofredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafino Geofredo in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitin Colsa saved Audaz FC from getting behind. Audaz FC's Vitin Colsa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Geofredo in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Omar Fagondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over C. A. Potrero could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Audaz FC throughout the match.
