The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dênis Cardozo during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dênis Cardozo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Nildo Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Amesti having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Pinho in the 13th minute of play forced C.F. Leftraro's goalkeeper Demetrio Amesti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florín Reveco in the 16th minute of play forced BOI BRABO FC's goalkeeper Gualter Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demetrio Amesti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Ribeiro in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, BOI BRABO FC's Clemente Gaúcho got a free kick in the 19th minute. With an all-out effort, C.F. Leftraro's Gualter Britto threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Florín Reveco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Bruninho Tinoco fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BOI BRABO FC's protests and gave Bruninho Tinoco a yellow card for diving instead. Bruninho Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Tinoco in the 28th minute of play forced C.F. Leftraro's goalkeeper Demetrio Amesti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes C.F. Leftraro got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Caldera. Demetrio Amesti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Rómulo Huechun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.F. Leftraro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BOI BRABO FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.F. Leftraro's Rómulo Huechun got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Dênis Cardozo put in a rough tackle. In the 34th minute, one of BOI BRABO FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BOI BRABO FC. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Gualter Britto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 45 minutes, Lauro Monsalve mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.F. Leftraro and the BOI BRABO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, C.F. Leftraro's Lauro Monsalve got a free kick in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Ribeiro in the 47th minute of play forced C.F. Leftraro's goalkeeper Demetrio Amesti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florín Reveco to strike the kick off in the second half. C.F. Leftraro were furious when Robustiano Pfingsthorn was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to C.F. Leftraro getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Robustiano Pfingsthorn hit a great ball. Demetrio Amesti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Ribeiro in the 58th minute of the match. Reyes Aboitiz charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reyes Aboitiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Reyes Aboitiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demetrio Amesti acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nildo Loureiro. Adelino Mandrak struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Demetrio Amesti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOI BRABO FC. Demetrio Amesti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Ribeiro in the 74th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Henrique Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Demetrio Amesti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of BOI BRABO FC booed when C.F. Leftraro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reyes Aboitiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, C.F. Leftraro's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Mandrak came free, but Demetrio Amesti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Adelino Mandrak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Demetrio Amesti, 1-1. If Adelino Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
