Angel Calisto's late challenge caught a Red Reign's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Calisto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Angel Calisto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniel Gallardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jesus Gargollo to strike the kick off in the second half. Abelardo Ledesma kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Red Reign:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kaplan:s goal. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Calisto came free, but Saritama Durana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Ledesma took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saritama Durana. Saritama Durana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Aurelio Herauso fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kaplan's protests and gave Aurelio Herauso a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kaplan's Aurelio Herauso got a free kick in the 95th minute. Bohórquez Erauzquin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Eugenio Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaplan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
