Tottenham Hotspurs's Santos Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos de Azevedo in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Carlos de Azevedo in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Loco saved Tottenham Hotspurs from getting behind. Santos Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Carlos de Azevedo in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute, Leonardo Bieito reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nestor Quintal. The goal made the score 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Tottenham Hotspurs's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor Rodrigues came free, but Santos Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Loco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Rodrigues in the 32nd minute of the match. Santos Loco came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Independente FC's José Vítor Rodrigues. But to his dismay, José Vítor Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 37th minute, Leonardo Bieito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tottenham Hotspurs's Santos Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos de Azevedo in the 46th minute of play. Inácio das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Santos Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenzo Rainerio made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Leonardo Bieito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Independente FC booed when Tottenham Hotspurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Bieito didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Independente FC's Benedito Trancoso tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the game, Inácio das Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Independente FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tottenham Hotspurs the free kick. A collision led to Independente FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Inácio das Neves hit a great ball. Zé Carlos de Azevedo came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Santos Loco could save by the left post. In the 70th minute Leonardo Bieito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Zé Carlos de Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Santos Loco. Tottenham Hotspurs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 75 minutes into the match, Tottenham Hotspurs's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos de Azevedo came free, but Santos Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Egoi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Zé Carlos de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Loco made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Zé Carlos de Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Carlos de Azevedo got free with Santos Loco in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Independente FC booed when Tottenham Hotspurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santos Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio das Neves in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Independente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Martins to maneuver through the defense. Independente FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
