Iván Imaz hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Torkel Bajs notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Inter de Chillán's Basilio Dragicevic. Basilio Dragicevic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lillebror Gris came out and tried to block the shot, but Bairon Bernales slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. Basilio Dragicevic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gamal Bajs's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belmiro Traverso in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lillebror Gris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the game, Bairon Bernales recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lillebror Gris. Bairon Bernales showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Lillebror Gris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bairon Bernales in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match Inter de Chillán got a corner. Bibbi Bonkers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amado Mas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iván Imaz in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lillebror Gris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Bibbi Bonkers getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Karl-Erik Spets hit a great ball. Lillebror Gris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bairon Bernales, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Iván Imaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Lillebror Gris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bibbi Bonkers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Iván Imaz scored to the left of an out of position Lillebror Gris, making the score, 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iván Imaz made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Inter de Chillán's Belmiro Traverso got a free kick in the 51st minute. Lillebror Gris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iván Imaz in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iván Imaz in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lillebror Gris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lillebror Gris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ian Gillan went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. With 69 minutes on the clock, Karl-Erik Spets commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bibbi Bonkers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Inter de Chillán. Amado Mas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lillebror Gris. 6-1. After 87 minutes, Iván Imaz made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bibbi Bonkers's Lillebror Gris tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lillebror Gris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bairon Bernales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lillebror Gris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bairon Bernales in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes in the game Juan Pedro Labra did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ian Gillan.
