A collision led to TAQUARI FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Bruninho Silva hit a great ball. Cristian Couto scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt Felin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 10 minutes of play, TAQUARI FC's Felipe Queiroz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt Felin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Fernando Ramalho charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Fernando Ramalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Carlos Fernando Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Felipe Queiroz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bengt Felin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Gustaf Låsberg succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jano Motta during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes TAQUARI FC got a freekick which was hit by Jano Motta. Cristian Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Felin having to interfere. In the 47th minute Edgard Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Felin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Kråk was the one to do the kick off. Bengt Felin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Couto's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Felipe Queiroz took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Bengt Felin to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Bruninho Silva took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Bengt Felin to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, AIF's John Eliasson got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 68 minutes AIF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Munhoz who took care of the corner kick. Felipe Munhoz made a great header on TAQUARI FC's corner, it was just that AIF's Bengt Felin managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as TAQUARI FC's Felipe Queiroz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bengt Felin. That made the score 1-8 after 71 minutes of play. Felipe Queiroz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-9 in the 76th playminute. When Gert Kjellbom fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIF's protests and gave Gert Kjellbom a yellow card for diving instead. Felipe Munhoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Låsberg in the 83rd minute of play. Bengt Felin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Bengt Felin stood somewhat misplaced when Felipe Queiroz came free in front of goal and shot 1-10 to the left of him in the 90 minute. 94 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Queiroz came free, but Bengt Felin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Cristian Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Felin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over TAQUARI FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AIF throughout the match.
