After 2 played minutes Asesinos Por Naturaleza got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Errolan. After 5 minutes, Ivan Eneko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asesinos Por Naturaleza and the Sydney FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Jaden Krieglmeier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Luis Ospetsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Jaden Krieglmeier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sydney FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaden Krieglmeier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Aureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Michel hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Pierre Möhn kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaden Krieglmeier got free with Cristo Aureo in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Sydney FC's Pierre Möhn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristo Aureo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Cristo Aureo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Cristo Aureo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Asesinos Por Naturaleza from getting a goal against them. After having played for 30 minutes, Jaden Krieglmeier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sydney FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaden Krieglmeier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaden Krieglmeier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Cristo Aureo made a huge save. After 32 played minutes Gabriel Michel rounded Asesinos Por Naturaleza's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 39 played minutes Asesinos Por Naturaleza got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Errolan. Gabriel Michel hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kees Plappert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Luis Ospetsu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Florian Guderian, 1-1. Leandro Cordaro kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Asesinos Por Naturaleza's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Schnur came free, but Cristo Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Cordaro got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adnan Tilner in the 63rd minute of play forced Asesinos Por Naturaleza's goalkeeper Cristo Aureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Asesinos Por Naturaleza booed when Sydney FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Inger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Ospetsu took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florian Guderian. Cristo Aureo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Domingo Hernando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Florian Guderian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Asesinos Por Naturaleza defense, Kees Plappert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristo Aureo. The Asesinos Por Naturaleza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristo Aureo should have stopped the shot. Harald Inger's late challenge caught a Asesinos Por Naturaleza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harald Inger helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Sydney FC got a freekick which was hit by Harald Inger. After some careless play in the Asesinos Por Naturaleza defense, Pierre Möhn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristo Aureo. The Asesinos Por Naturaleza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristo Aureo should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sydney FC had played much better football throughout.
