Iulian Burtea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viktor Josefsson went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A throw-in in the 11th minute of the game was made by Verner Lidman with Tommy Haglund as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jens-Åke Abrahamsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jens-Åke Abrahamsson took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iulian Burtea. Iulian Burtea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, MIT's Eduard Culcer got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Anabolic Boys's Elof Hellgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Anabolic Boys from getting a goal against them. Iulian Burtea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktor Josefsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iulian Burtea having to make a save. In the 33rd minute Viktor Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Burtea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iulian Burtea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Åke Abrahamsson in the 34th minute of play. When Anabolic Boys's Jens-Åke Abrahamsson in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viktor Josefsson couldn't finish the play. A collision led to MIT getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Damian Bădiță hit a great ball. Fredrik Bollström charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredrik Bollström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Anabolic Boys getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fredrik Bollström hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Åke Abrahamsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Alvin Skröder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anabolic Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MIT the free kick. Alvin Skröder kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of Anabolic Boys booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petre Prislop didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anabolic Boys's Gilbert Larsfält was substituted for Jens-Åke Abrahamsson. In the 69th minute of the match Staffan Rolandsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iulian Burtea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Elof Hellgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Cezariu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iulian Burtea made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Gilbert Larsfält sent off a good shot on target. Iulian Burtea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicky Elin in the 79th minute of the match. MIT made a substitution. Gică Socoriceanu replaced Emanuel Fințescu. When Nicky Elin fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anabolic Boys's protests and gave Nicky Elin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Anabolic Boys's Nicky Elin got a free kick in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Cezariu in the 94th minute of play forced Anabolic Boys's goalkeeper Elof Hellgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
