Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vaggelis Kountouroudas got the match started through his kick off. 8 minutes into the game, one of Unione Sportiva:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Petre Prislop shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Nessos Koulaxizis hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Hector Volakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Cezariu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkeides Touchakis in the 23rd minute of play forced MIT's goalkeeper Iulian Burtea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iulian Burtea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alkeides Touchakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, MIT's Gelu Petrică got a free kick in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the MIT defense, Odysseas Rousses kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iulian Burtea. The MIT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iulian Burtea should have stopped the shot. When Antonis Samios fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unione Sportiva's protests and gave Antonis Samios a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MIT booed when Unione Sportiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonis Samios didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Costel Cezariu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unione Sportiva's Hector Volakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hector Volakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Cezariu in the 45th minute of the match. Costel Cezariu took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Volakis. Hector Volakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.

In the 59th match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costel Cezariu to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Costel Cezariu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hector Volakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 69th minute Costel Cezariu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Volakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MIT made a substitution. Gică Socoriceanu replaced Emanuel Fințescu. In the 73rd minute of the game Antonis Samios made a throw-in which Lykaon Mehalitsenos played forward. In the 77th minute, Charalambos Christou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unione Sportiva fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. MIT made a substitution. Cristian Rareș replaced Damian Bădiță. Hector Volakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Culcer in the 84th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes MIT got a freekick which was hit by Costel Cezariu. Alkeides Touchakis struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Iulian Burtea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unione Sportiva. After 95 minutes of play, MIT's Costel Cezariu made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Volakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, MIT could leave the field as winners, despite Unione Sportiva having more of the ball for most of the match.
