In the 6th minute, Plauto Alvarez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inácio Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Pierres Herrero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Inácio Leite was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Plauto Alvarez took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inácio Leite. Inácio Leite dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ibar Serra took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inácio Leite. With a left leg Inácio Leite saved Viseu United from getting behind. 30 minutes into the game, Ibar Serra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Inácio Leite was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Inácio Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Plauto Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The Viseu United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Villawalter City were winning 1-8.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Gonçalves to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Viseu United's Valdemar Morais nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregorio Castillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-8. Viseu United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Carlos Gonçalves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregorio Castillo was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Gregorio Castillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Viseu United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Villawalter City were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
