Cléber Azevedo in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Georg Vallin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Doriva Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Lundström in the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Protegéerna's zone, Cléber Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georg Vallin came out of the goal and Cléber Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 minutes of play, Protegéerna's Roy Bennet made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doriva Saraiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fredrik Billberg's late challenge caught a ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Billberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Fredrik Billberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Georg Vallin made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Cléber Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Bo-Erik Springfält managed to get in a good position for a shot. Protegéerna's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo-Erik Springfält was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doriva Saraiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roy Bennet struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Doriva Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Protegéerna. Georg Vallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Protegéerna:s goal. In the 40th match minute, Protegéerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Löfkvist to maneuver through the defense. Carlinhos da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Gilmar de Brito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Georg Vallin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cléber Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Benjamim Freitas hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's goalkeeper Doriva Saraiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bo-Erik Springfält. Protegéerna's Roy Bennet got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Doriva Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Bennet in the 64th minute of play. The throw-in from Enéas Ramalho in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Protegéerna's Bo-Erik Springfält. 79 minutes into the game, one of ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Protegéerna a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Olof Löfkvist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Doriva Saraiva. 1-5. In the 85th minute, Bo-Erik Springfält got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Roy Gallberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Protegéerna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Georg Vallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilmar de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 92nd play minutes Roy Gallberg shot 1-7, a short shot which went by Doriva Saraiva and just under the crossbar into goal. Roy Gallberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Protegéerna's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
