The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Ushuaia FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Justino Ofelio hit a great ball. Cirilo Corderall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Hernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Örjan Kaxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Rafael Hernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivar Rolfsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when Ushuaia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Birila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severiano Favila was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stefan Mårtensson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. After some careless play in the Ushuaia FC defense, Nils-Erik Brogren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severiano Favila. The Ushuaia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severiano Favila should have stopped the shot. Oscar Beckman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severiano Favila came out and tried to block the shot, but Oscar Beckman slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 34th minute. Severiano Favila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Beckman in the 38th minute of the match. The AIK FOTBOLL fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when AIK FOTBOLL's Oscar Beckman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rafael Hernandez might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivar Rolfsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Hernandez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute Rafael Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Rolfsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Andreas Colin hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Justino Ofelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severiano Favila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Erik Brogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Ushuaia FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Angelino Lopez hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Justino Ofelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the game, Oscar Beckman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Severiano Favila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Erik Brogren in the 76th minute of play forced Ushuaia FC's goalkeeper Severiano Favila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cirilo Corderall came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ushuaia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Corderall couldn't finish the play. Rafael Hernandez struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ivar Rolfsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ushuaia FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Erik Brogren in the 81st minute of play forced Ushuaia FC's goalkeeper Severiano Favila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, AIK FOTBOLL's Rune Abrahamsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Favila made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 87 minutes into the match, Nils-Erik Brogren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severiano Favila. Ushuaia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils-Erik Brogren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Severiano Favila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Beckman in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Ivar Rolfsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
