The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sabino Salgueiro came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Milan's Pavlos Kazakis. But to his dismay, Pavlos Kazakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Kostas Tsioris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nélson Araújo in the 17th minute of the match. Kostas Tsioris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucílio Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A well done corner resulted in Nélson Araújo drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind AC Milan's goalkeeper. 24 minutes into the game, Panos Karamichas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ultra Copos FC ™ the free kick. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Panos Karamichas got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Nélson Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Tsioris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabino Salgueiro came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Milan's Aris Kortzidis. But to his dismay, Aris Kortzidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Alekos Volakis got a free kick in the 35th minute. Lucílio Sampaio hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Aris Kortzidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alekos Volakis's late challenge caught a Ultra Copos FC ™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alekos Volakis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alekos Volakis hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes, Ultra Copos FC ™'s Samuel Boaventura shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kostas Tsioris came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Nikos Kosmidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Sabino Salgueiro made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Guilherme Belém put in a rough tackle. 46 minutes into the game, one of Ultra Copos FC ™:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Henrique Morais made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fanis Panousis in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabino Salgueiro saved Ultra Copos FC ™ from getting behind. Sabino Salgueiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavlos Kazakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 played minutes Ultra Copos FC ™ got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Valentim. Koulis Saveris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. AC Milan's Orestis Katsadourakis was substituted for Pavlos Kazakis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orestis Katsadourakis in the 63rd minute of play forced Ultra Copos FC ™'s goalkeeper Sabino Salgueiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabino Salgueiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koulis Saveris, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Nikos Kosmidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fanis Panousis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sabino Salgueiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Manouselis in the 88th minute of play forced Ultra Copos FC ™'s goalkeeper Sabino Salgueiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabino Salgueiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aris Kortzidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Nikos Kosmidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sabino Salgueiro. Ultra Copos FC ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikos Kosmidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 98 minutes into the match, Ultra Copos FC ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Orestis Katsadourakis came free, but Sabino Salgueiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that AC Milan were the better team. AC Milan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
