The tension between the Philadelphia Union FC and the AFC FUSION players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Panas Rurych to make the kick off. During this time Philadelphia Union FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Philadelphia Union FC's Rodion Krohmal to fire away a dangerous shot which Carolo Isidor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ruslan Martynyuk got in the 83rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Carolo Isidor handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. But to his dismay, Marco Lorien quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Ruslan Martynyuk hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Demjan Yatsyk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carolo Rico went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 97 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Carolo Rico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demjan Yatsyk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. When the referee ended the match the AFC FUSION players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
