After a defensive mix-up in Dinamo Colorado's zone, Olly Morgan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrício Negri came out of the goal and Olly Morgan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabrício Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szilveszter Szegh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes Dinamo Colorado's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bertil Ekström who took care of the corner kick. 21 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Pudes Vilas came free, but Fabrício Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rivaldo Dez. Rivaldo Dez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Tomas Brandt made a huge save. In the 26th minute Olly Morgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Alianza Trujillo booed when Dinamo Colorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelito Vivar came free, but Fabrício Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pudes Vilas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Fabrício Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Fabrício Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelito Vivar in the 52nd minute of the match. Yu Ting Sang hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rivaldo Dez in the 59th minute of play forced Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Cayetano Montez sped through Dinamo Colorado's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabrício Negri. Fabrício Negri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Szilveszter Szegh showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 71 minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Ronald Narusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute of the match, Cayetano Montez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabrício Negri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Cayetano Montez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrício Negri was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When Davi Lamonica came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Dinamo Colorado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davi Lamonica couldn't finish the play. Dinamo Colorado made a substitution. Cezary Laba replaced Rivaldo Dez. Fabrício Negri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cayetano Montez in the 82nd minute. Dinamo Colorado's Fabrício Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelito Vivar in the 92nd minute of play. Davi Lamonica scored 1-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Brandt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alianza Trujillo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
