Jardel Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Mroczynski in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Mroczynski in the 25th minute of play forced Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Jardel Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Brow Team's Igor Siekierski got control of the ball when Pipis Karapatakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Igor Siekierski was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Pipis Karapatakis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pipis Karapatakis really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Czeslaw Tipinski hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Filiph Biörling struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Igor Siekierski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio FBPA. Deivid de Sena hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Bogumil Wawro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jardel Sanches was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

In the 65th minute of the match Brow Team got a corner. Grêmio FBPA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andrzej Cichocki ran over to the corner to take the kick. Grêmio FBPA's Alberto Estevon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Franciszek Modliszewski in the 67 minute of the game. If Pipis Karapatakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Brow Team's goal looked a bit too open when Pipis Karapatakis came free, but Igor Siekierski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jardel Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franciszek Modliszewski in the 76th minute of the match. After 98 played minutes Brow Team got a freekick which was hit by Zachary Wojno. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Grêmio FBPA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Brow Team had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
